A calm relaxing base to explore Cornwall and its many sights and attractions, this peaceful hotel boasts a fantastic setting overlooking the award-winning beach at Porth.
Situated on the craggy North Cornwall coast where the Atlantic waves crash in, with clean sandy beaches and a superb natural environment, during your stay you can enjoy endless golden sands; rock pools with tiny fish, anemones and seaweed; and a crystal clear sea which provides the best conditions in the British Isles for a range of water-sports.
In the evenings you can relax in the comfort of the hotel with a drink from the bar, where you can sit out on the terrace overlooking the beach.
The large comfortable breakfast conservatory becomes a relaxing lounge/TV area, with cards, chess and board games or simply a place to enjoy a drink.
The rear garden is always available for guests to enjoy either a D.I.Y barbecue or simply sunbathe in.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The hotel houses 12 well-equipped, fully en suite bedrooms, some with balconies and sea views, others with superb views of Porth Bay Valley. All rooms have DVD players and some have comfortable sofas.

By Car:
- Take the A30 through Cornwall.
- Follow the signs to Newquay on the A392.
- On the main road into Newquay (Porth), take a right at the first mini-roundabout, onto the coast road towards Padstow.
- Follow the road round Porth Bay, past The Mermaid Inn and up the hill.
- The hotel is on the right-hand side opposite the beach.
By Air:
There are daily flights from Gatwick, Stansted, Leeds, Durham, Dublin, Cardiff and Edinburgh direct to Newquay Airport, which is 3 miles from the hotel.
